Assy Lab

Assy Lab (Assay lab) is the project name for the Scientific lab element of the game.
Players have to analyse their own test results, one wrong dip and you could lose the batch!
Dip and place the liquid into the test tube, players have to wash the pipette to avoid contamination, to reset the experiment they can 'wash' the test tube and pipette - acting as a reset. the downside is the Washing of the pipette uses the de-ionised water and reduces their 'reset' ability.

The player has to reach a hexadecimal (hex) number - each colour (in computers) have their own assigned "Hex'" there will be a colour swatch and a percentage correct indicator.

Once the sample is in the Mas-Spectrometer it will pass or fail and link to an actual site with PFAs - We are hoping that we can utilise the Forever Pollution map - company and town names will be fictional.
We will be using actual latitude and longitude so anyone can research the issues that are actually in the world.

Check Point 1

The first checkpoint has been made with the following gameplay.

  • Red, green and blue colours,
  • Sucks colour up, pushes out into the test tube.
  • Cannot move through flasks/test tube
  • Has 'hex' mixed (in test tube)
  • What 'hex' you need to make

Checkpoint 2

Major Maspect - Masspectometor
During the game the Masspectometor will utilise real world data (subject to availability and allowance to use) but won't use real world names of companies.
Abilities:
  • Mixes samples
  • Shows results
  • Latitude and Longitude
  • Company name (fictional)
  • Type of Sample
  • Pollution level
  • Drag from test tube rack to 'Major MaSpect'

Checkpoint 3

The Wash and random hex
The pipette will need to be washed between taking samples, the means more care needs to be applied as the wash also acts as a reset to start again.
There will be limited wash and sample liquid. A random colour is generated as a target, the player then has to meet the 'hex' of that colour, it also generates the correct combination of colours to reach that correct shade.
